The Club has booked self-catering accommodation in Skipton for a week in mid July 2024 – an excellent base for a wide range of walking in the Yorkshire Dales. With a railway station in the town there are opportunities to travel on the Settle Carlisle Railway, opening up linear as well as circular walks. Skipton is a market town and has good shopping facilities.
Sole occupancy of a room with a shared bathroom costs £275 for the accommodation; anyone sharing a room pays £250 per head. There are a very few rooms with en-suite facilities or sole use of a bathroom and these cost £325 per head for single occupancy. In all cases the deposit to secure a place is £75 per head. Please check with Jill regarding availability if you only want a single en-suite room for one. All bookings are with Jill, not the Club.
