General information about the walk: A day of two distinct halves: the morning rarely losing sight of the river Great Ouse. The afternoon is more rural, mainly following well trodden paths across the Black Fen with occasional glimpses of an enlarging Ely Cathedral as we progress.

Route: Ely –  Little Thetford – Great Ouse – Stretham Old Engine – Stretham – Burying Way – Cawdle Fen – Ely.
