Wednesday B Morning Walks

General walk information:

BAM walks are between 5 ½ and 6 ½ miles and walked at a pace of about 3 miles/hr. We begin at 10.00 prompt (unless otherwise stated) and usually finish between 12.30-1.00 pm. For the Summer we will be offering one walk each week. Please let the leader know you are coming by sending them a text (or call). We do not stop for lunch but there is normally a short break for a drink etc.

Walk: Ickleton

Start of walk: 10.00 am

Car parking: Ickleton, road parking Church Street, Ickleton, Saffron Walden, CB10 1SL

Take A11 to Stump Cross then A1301.  Turn left to Hinxton and Ickleton.  If coming from Cambridge on A1301, after Sawston by pass and roundabout with BP garage turn right at turn for Hinxton and Ickleton.  Keep straight on to Ickleton on Ickleton Road.  Park on left side of Church Road after church and before Cost Cutter on right.  Meet at end of Church Road on corner opposite Cost Cutter.

The walk goes through Ickleton, Hinxton Mill, Hinxton and Hinxton Hall grounds and back to Ickleton.  The Cost Cutter should be open for icecream/refreshments.
