BARRINGTON VILLAGE HALL CAR PARK 14/5/23

From Cambridge take the A10 towards Royston. Just before the Foxton level crossing turn right towards Barrington (signposted).  Follow this road round until you reach a T junction (High Street to the left and Haslingfield Road to the right).  At the T junction turn left. The Village Hall is on the left (next to 61 High Street and before phone box on right) and we have been asked to use the top east end (left) of the car park leaving the west end (right) for the Social Club.  Would drivers please bring a donation of £1 towards the use of the car park.  I recommend a notice to go in the car saying “Cambridge Rambling Club; leaving mid-afternoon, please do not block in” just in case there are a lot of cars for the party in the hall though the hall organiser does not expect there will be a problem.

The walk will be about 10 miles departing at 10.00 via the clunch pit at Haslingfield in the hope of early orchids. No pub stop so bring all food /drink for the day.
