3rd May Wednesday B Morning Walk – Impington – 6.7 miles

The walk starts from the Recreation Ground car park in New Road, Impington. CB24 9EL

From the A14, come off at junction 32 onto the B1049 and follow the signs to Histon.

After second set of traffic lights turn right into New Road, also signed Lea Hospital.  After

approx. 50yds and just before the hospital turn right into the recreation ground car park.

The walk is on village footpaths through Histon and continues through countryside to Oakington

recreation ground.

There will be a stop for refreshments on the recreation ground and we then follow the

permissive path back towards Histon.  The walk is approx. 6.7 miles.

Wednesday B Morning walks are moderate speed – 3 m.p.h. on good terrain.
Start at 10:00. There will be a 10 minute drinks stop part way.
As no lunch is involved it is not necessary to phone leader – just turn up.
