Walk length: Approx. 7.5 miles (5.5 miles in the morning and just over 2 miles after lunch)

Walk details: We go up to and along the Roman road, down into Linton, and return along the Granta river. No stiles, but hilly.

Directions, parking and meeting place: From Cambridge, take A1307, cross A11, go past Abington and continue until left turn for Hildersham (new traffic lights). Park by the decorative village sign, and gather by the little bridge and ford in Hildersham village for 10.15am start. The postcode is CB21 6BU.

Lunch arrangements: At the Crown Inn in Linton. Menu attached. Dogs are welcome in the bar.
For those wishing to bring a picnic, the Meadow recreation field is not far from the pub and has benches.

Your details will be held for 7 days just in case it is necessary to notify others on a walk that someone has tested positive for Covid. Individual details will be deleted after 7 days. No one should come on the walk if they feel even slightly ill.
