Start of Walk : Camside, CB4 1PQ, map ref TL465 597. Please park along one side of the road.

Mileage : A circular walk of 10 miles:  6.4 in the morning; 3.6 in the afternoon.

Lunch : The Mill, Mill Lane. For menu please see the attachments; or own snack by the river at Sheep’s Green. The pub is happy to be telephoned on the day for food orders, before we start our walk.

Walk and Route : An Autumn walk of city and countryside. We will walk along some iconic roads in Chesterton, then by some colleges in Cambridge, to have coffee at the University Centre cafe on the High Cross site. We will then follow paths at field margins, to go round colleges’ sports grounds to reach the River Cam and on to lunch. In the afternoon we will return through town and greens, by the river.
