The ramble on Wednesday will start from Dobbies Garden Centre, Shepreth. Meet in the car park, at the entrance to the garden centre building, and start walking at 10.30am. The walk is is about 2.5 miles with an optional self-guided add-on of about 1.2 miles. There’s a large, reasonably-priced cafe which opens at 9am and serves drinks, snacks, lunches and teas. Also toilets and ample free parking.

Directions: Dobbies is on a road off the A10. Take the A10 south. Go through Foxton, etc and keep going. Go straight over the cross roads, ignore the sign to Shepreth Wildlife Park on the right and continue on the A10. Continue past the Cambridge Motel on the right and past Dunsbridge Business Park on the left. Take the next turning left, towards Melbourne. Go past the Mower Centre on the left and then turn right into Dobbies. The car park is behind the main building.
