Start and Parking: The start of the walk and parking are in the village car park, at Orwell Clunch Pit, High St Orwell. Post code SG8 5QN. GR TL365504

Distance: 15 miles, am 9.5 – 10 miles, pm 5 miles.

Route:   The morning walk is to Whaddon then along a permissive path before heading for Wimpole. We will walk part of the drive up to Wimpole before diverting to Arrington. We will enter the grounds via the Arrington Gate and have lunch near the stable block. The afternoon will be a walk up to The Folly and back to Orwell.

Refreshments: We may be able to get a drink at Wimpole, but please bring all refreshments for the day.
