Wednesday B All-day walk – Wicken and Soham

Start time: 10.15
Walk length: 7.5 miles
Walk details: The walk is 4.5 miles in the morning and 3 miles in the afternoon; couldn’t make it less in the afternoon I am afraid, but you will probably need the extra to work off the lunch.
Meet: at NT Wicken Fen car park, cost of £3 to non members. Post code: CB7 5XP Lode Lane, Wicken.
Numbers: No limit on numbers but please confirm to Sue if you plan to walk and if you want lunch.
Lunch arrangements: We will be stopping at the Cherry Tree for lunch on the outskirts of Soham.
Barry and I went there the other day and the senior menu was the best value for money we have ever had. The senior menu is two courses for £7 (you must choose a main and either a starter or dessert). There is also a choice of sandwiches/baguettes. jacket potatoes and soup on the main menu.

The pub is more like a restaurant. They will not accept dogs I am afraid inside but there is an undercover place outside.
