We start by walking along a stretch of Devil’s Dyke then the old railway before crossing the Fens and walking along Reach Lode to the ancient village of Reach. Here we rejoin Devil’s Dyke for a longer stretch back to the start. Flat, fairly easy walking though one section may be muddy, and Devil’s Dyke can be a little narrow. You may wat to bring walking sticks, and the Fens are quite exposed, so advise head covering as appropriate.

Leave Cambridge on A1303 then join B1102 at Stow-cum Quy. There is a Devil’s Dyke car park on the righthand side between Swaffham Prior and Burwell CB25 0AN.
