The walk is around Trumpington Meadows. Meet at the Lord Byron Inn, 22 Church Lane, Cambridge CB2 9LA. Church Lane is one-way, so you will need to approach via Maris Lane or Grantchester Road. Coffee from 10am, start walking at 10.30am, back at about 12.30pm.
The walk is about 4.3 miles; we shall go along the river past Byron’s Pool, then across the M11 to the southern section of Trumpington Meadows Nature Reserve, back through the northern part. It is easy to shorten the walk at any stage before crossing the M11. It will inevitably be muddy by the river but nothing too terrible.Please email or ring me by 5pm on Tuesday if you intend to have lunch
