Meet about 10.20am on path at entrance to the Car Park opposite Toft People’s Hall on School Lane.
Walk will commence 10.30am. (If the car park gets full, you can find alternative places on School Lane, In front of Red Lion or Millers Rd.) The walk is under 4 miles but you can turn back at any time if you prefer a shorter walk.
The walk will be muddy in places so bring boots and sticks if you have them. We will be walking along field tracks towards Caldecote church and looping around the fields and meadows, past Toft woods and back to The People’s Hall where the Cafe will be open for home made soups, toasties and home made cakes, hot and cold beverages. (Bring a change of shoes so we don’t muddy their floors).
I aim to be back around 12.00 noon. I would be grateful if you could let me know if you will be walking but also the volunteers at the Cafe will be expecting us, so to ensure seating is available, prior notification is required. I will need to let them know numbers so please ring me or email before 7pm Tues night. “WALK” or “WALK + CAFE” would suffice. Thank you.
