The C Group walk will be from the Crown in Linton.
Take the A1307 Haverhill road to Linton. Immediately after the light controlled crossing turn left into Linton High Street. The Crown is a short distance on the left and has a small car park through an archway. Meet at 10 for coffee and lunch orders before we start walking at 10.30.
This walk is supposed to be 4.5 miles but when I walked it today 5 miles is nearer the length. For those who prefer a shorter walk I suggest turning back to Linton after about 2 miles or less. I will provide notes for how to retrace the route back to Linton. The attractive village of Hadstock is about half way after which we will cross the Icknield Way before returning to Linton.
