The Monkfield Arms are kindly opening for us to have tea/coffees at 10.00am. Should be plenty of parking space at the pub but if you prefer to park at Morrisons, that’s nearby too.
We will start walking at 10.45am from the pub Car Park.
Walking pace will be a steady 2.5 miles per hour. A few areas of soft mud but generally dry and on the flat.
Distance approx 3 miles.
( For those who wish to only do a shorter walk, it is possible to do a loop around the lakes and back to the car park. Greens Cafe is just across the road).
The walk will take approx 1 hr 15mins
We should be back for lunch at the pub at 12.00. We are booked in but I need those of you who would like to stay for lunch to let me know by 7pm on Tuesday 8th Nov as they will need to know numbers.
