Walk details from Liz
Part 1, which I will lead, is about 45 minutes. An optional Part 2, which is self-guided, is about an hour.
Meet at Madingley Hall car park for a 10.30 start.Take the left-hand turn at the top of the main drive. The car park is large and free.

Part 1: I will lead a walk around Madingley Hall grounds (roughly 45 minutes) returning to the car park.

Part 2: A self-guided walk to 800 Wood and back. (Roughly an hour):
INSTRUCTIONS FOR PART 2
Walk down Madingley Hall drive and straight over the mini-roundabout. Go straight on up Cambridge Road. After about half a mile, you will see a large gate and a small wooden gate on your right (nearly opposite a row of four brick-built terraced houses on your left). Go through the small wooden gate and you are in 800 Wood. It was planted by the University to mark it’s 800th anniversary and is not yet fully-grown. There are numerous grassy paths (and occasional benches) around the wood and it’s relatively easy to create a circular walk. There is a map of the wood on a signboard just inside the gate. Return to Madingley Hall by the same road route as before.
