Wednesday B All-day walk – Milton to Horningsea using new Chisholm Trail bridge

Start time: 10.15
Walk length: 6 miles
Walk details: The walk will start at Milton Tesco and head to Horningsea. 4 miles in the morning, 2 miles after lunch. There will be mud!
Meeting place and parking: Park at the Milton Tesco (CB24 6AY) on the side of the car park away from the shop entrance. We will notify the store of our car registration numbers which will allow us to stay longer than 2 hours.
Group size: No limit on number of walkers
Lunch arrangements: Lunch at Horningsea, either at Scotsdales garden centre, or at the Plough and Fleece opposite. If we’re advised not to share indoor spaces we can bring sandwiches and eat on the green, and we can consult about any new covid restrictions or other issues nearer the time.

In line with the requirements for group walks of more than six people, as approved by Ramblers UK (the national body for walking), everyone coming on the walk must provide the leader with their contact details.
Please email or phone the leader if you plan to come. Please remember to give your name as part of any message! Your details will be held for 21 days for Covid-19 ‘test and trace’ purposes, then deleted.
No one should come on the walk if they feel even slightly ill. Please make sure that you bring with you a face covering, hand sanitiser and any walking poles you need; no equipment or refreshments can be shared beyond households. In line with government guidance, members are asked to observe ‘social distancing’ on the walk.
