Wednesday B Morning walk – Wicken Fen – 6 miles

A walk around Wicken Fen starting from Upware.

Meet at the environment Agency Car Park at Upware, Grid Ref: TL538700.  The best postcode I can give you is the “Five Miles From  Anywhere” pub which is CB7 5ZR (it’s a two minute walk round the corner from where we meet).  To find the car park take the A1123, travelling west to east turn right  (or left if travelling west to east) onto the Upware Road and just follow this road round.  The Environment Agency car park is on the left just before you get to the river.

Wednesday B morning walks are a moderate speed – 3 m.p.h. on good terrain.Start at 10.00.  There will be a 10 minute drinks stop part way with NT toilets available.As no lunch is involved it is not necessary to phone the leader Just turn up.
