From Cambridge take A1303 and at the A14 roundabout,  take second exit and the left fork (B1102) signposted Burwell, Quy, Lode, Swaffhams and Anglesey Abbey.  Drive through Stow cum Quy, pass Anglesey Abbey and almost immediately at the cross-roads, turn left into Lode Road.  Park in the road beyond The Shed Pub Restaurant (CB25 9ET).  The walk will be 4.5 miles.
