Wednesday B Morning walk – Kingston – 6 miles

Kingston is between the villages of Toft, Bourne and Eversden and can be approached by the A428 from the North or by the A603 from the South.  The walk begins at the Village Pump (with parking as shown on the map below). We begin by walking towards the Kingston Wood and Pincote Wood. We will continue across woods on the northern border of the Wimpole Hall Estate, where we will take our break, before returning to Kingston along the ancient Mare Way and through Eversden wood. The walk is mainly through woodland and fields. While most paths are clear, there is likely to be some undergrowth and the fields could be sticky after rain. Stout foot-ware and trousers are a good idea.
