Wednesday B Morning walk – Cambourne – 6 miles

Meet at Morrison’s car park. Although Morrison’s postcode is CB23 6EY the nearest postcode to the car park is CB23 6FY.

From Cambridge take Madingly Road and A428 for ~8/9 miles. Left at slip road to Cambourne (Cambourne Road), 1st exit at next big roundabout with lake and Belfry hotel to your left (Back Lane). 3rd exit ie turn right) at following (smaller) roundabout and you are in the car park.

Walk is ~6miles and fairly easy underfoot. Around Cambourne lakes and nature reserve and over hill which is not very big but possible to skirt it for anyone wishing to do so.

Wednesday Morning B walks are moderate speed – 3 m.p.h. on good terrain. Start at 10.00. There will be a 10 minute drink stop part way. As no lunch is involved, it is not necessary to phone the leader – just turn up.
