Barkway- Nuthampstead 7 miles
Walk will start from Barkway.

From A505 heading toward Royston from Duxford, take left turn onto B1368 to Puckeridge at Flint Cross, keep on B1368 until you enter the village of Barkway, parking in the car park opposite village hall, this is the first opening as you enter the village, lots of free parking available.  Can we start at 10.15 please?The walk is 7 miles and takes in mainly farm land through horse paddocks but there is a little road walking on minor roads, there are also some steps but no stiles.  One field has been cultivated but only means walking about 150 metres on ploughed (smooth, flat and muddy if wet).  

Lunch can be had at The Woodman pub in Nuthampstead, this is well known as being linked to the USAF bomber command and has lots of photographs.  Sandwiches and soup can be purchased, sandwiches from £5.50 to £6.95, soup with warm bread is £4.95.  I have menus and will take orders and phone through on the day, those not wishing to purchase food are welcome to consume their own in the grounds of the pub but please purchase a drink, please let me know if you need any further info.
