Wednesday B Morning Walks

General walk information:

BAM walks are between 5 ½ and 6 ½ miles and walked at a pace of about 3 miles/hr. We begin at 10.00 prompt (unless otherwise stated) and usually finish between 12.30-1.00 pm. There are two walks available each week. Please let the leader know you are coming by sending them a text (or call). We hope the number of walkers will be 12 or less and at the leader’s discretion. We do not stop for lunch but there is normally a short break for a drink etc.

Walk A: Boxworth

Start of walk: 10.00 am

Car parking: Beginning at the Golden Ball pub CB23 4LY. The landlady is happy for us to park at the far end of her car park, and even happier, if you tell her you are there, and promise to call in for a drink after the walk. There is other parking around the village High Street but please avoid blocking the route of the Bin lorry. From Cambridge. Leave A14 at junction 28 for Cambridge services, or approach from A428 leaving at Camborne and heading towards Knapwell.

Car parking: Walk starts from St Andrew’s church, West Wratting, CB21 5NA, Park on Causeway Road leading to the church (or where you can find a space!)
