Wednesday B All-day walk – Barkway and Nuthampstead

Start time: 10.oo – Note earlier start time

Walk length: 7 miles

Walk details: The walk is just under 5 miles a.m. and 2 miles p.m. Route follows good footpaths, bridleways, tracks and quiet roads. Two sets of deep steps. No stiles.

Meet: At the small carpark opposite Barkway Village Hall, 4 Cambridge Road, Barkway, Royston SG8 8BS at 10.00 a.m.

Numbers: No limit on numbers but please confirm to Sue if you plan to walk and if you want lunch. Note deadline below to book for lunch.

Lunch arrangements: Lunch at The Woodman Inn, Nuthampstead. Dogs are welcome. Link to menu below. Please note ‘Seniors’ choices. Food choices must be sent to Sue by Friday 15 April. For those wishing to bring a picnic, there is a bench near the pub, but no cover.

I will be away in mid April so don’t panic if your email is not immediately acknowledged.

Please email or phone the leader if you plan to come. Please remember to give your name as part of any message! Your details will be held for 7 days just in case it is necessary to notify others on a walk that someone has tested positive for Covid. Individual details will be deleted after 7 days.

No one should come on the walk if they feel even slightly ill.
