The walk starts from the NT car park at Wimpole Hall, SG8 0BW (Sat Nav SG8 0BS). There is a car parking fee if you are not a NT member.

The morning walk of 8.5 miles goes via Whaddon, the afternoon walk of 5.5 miles will be a meander around the environs of Wimpole Hall.

Lunch is either from the restaurant at Wimpole Hall or a packed lunch, al fresco.
