Road closure en route to Willingham

Please note that Station Road in Willingham is closed for a week starting from Monday 6th February. Consequently Wllingham cannot be accessed via Longstanton. So please travel via Over or Cottenham/Rampton.

Start of walk and car parking: The walk starts from Willingham Auctions Car Park, 25 High Street, Willingham, Cambridge CB24 5ES (if coming from the Willingham crossroads traffic lights, the Auction is on the right hand side just before the zebra crossing). If you are not intending visiting the Auction Café, please park in nearby streets or at the Ploughman Hall, West Fen Road,  Willingham CB24 5LP and walk up to the Willingham Auctions Car Park  for the start of the walk at 10.00 am.

Mileage: 12 miles (8.5 + 3.5)

Lunch: Lunch will be at the Willingham Auction Café (Lot 25). The lunch menu can be viewed at  https://lot-25.co.uk/. There is no need to pre-order the food. Please note that draft beer and cider is available. Please include YES CAFE in your text to the leader if you intend to eat in the Auction Cafe.

General information about the walk: This is a Figure of Eight walk, going along The Causeway to Aldreth and along the River Ouse back to Willingham in the morning followed by a short loop to the south of the village in the afternoon.
