Mileage: 12 miles (8+4) This is not a figure of eight walk but if anyone wants a shorter walk there is a 1mile route back to the cars after lunch. Please ask Anne for details.

Lunch: Lunch will be at the Walkin at Deepdale café. This café at Deepdale serves a range of paninis, sandwiches, salads and cakes as well as hot and cold drinks.  There is no need to book in advance.

General information about the walk: In the morning, the walk takes us through Potton to Sandy Warren via Peg Nut Hill, Sutton and Biggleswade Common, coming into Deepdale skirting Sandy Heath. In the afternoon, we explore the permissive paths around Sandy Heath surrounding the TV mast before heading back to the recreation ground.
