Start of walk: The car park is south side of Great Thurlow village. We have permission from the Sports Club to use this car park. The nearest postcode is CB9 7LF. Explorer Map 210; grid reference 679 502.

Car parking. As above. The large car park is by the playing field on the east side of  B1061 just south of the crossroads.

Mileage: 12 miles (7 and 5)

Lunch: Lunch is at the Red Lion, Kirtling. Soups, sandwiches, baguettes are available plus other items from their standard menu. Jenny will ring the order through mid-morning.

General information: The walk heads north past Little Bradley towards Kirtling. Returning further west using part of the Stour Valley Path.
