Park close together in free car park opposite St Mary’s Church, Church End, Walkern SG2 7PB.

Take A505 or A10 to Royston, take Royston bypass and still on A505 head towards Baldock.  After going over hill and down the far side take left turn signed Wallington and Rushton.  Go through the village of Redhill and Rushton.  On a bend with large black arrow on right where you can see a telegraph pole turn right (there is no signpost).  At T junction turn right into Cromer and go straight on to Walkern.  In Walkern just past pretty white cottages on right turn left into Church End.  Go through shallow ford, mind ducks, and the car park is on right opposite the church of St Mary The Virgin.  Should the car park be full just park further up the road and meet opposite the church.

This new walk is 13 miles mostly on good tracks, quiet lanes and field edges.  Lunch will be in the Cricketers Pub in Weston.
