The walk will start from Little Hadham Church, Church End, Little Hadham, Herts SG11 2DY. Explorer sheet 194, Landranger map 167, GR 446 228.

The morning will be 7.25 miles via Hadham Hall, Patmore Heath, Patient End and Rotten Row, with lunch at the Axe and Compasses in the scenic village of Braughing. The afternoon will be 5.25 via Braughing Friars and Aldbury.

Directions: Little Hadham is on the A120, approx. half way between Puckeridge and Bishops Stortford. At approx. half a mile east on the A120 from the Little Hadham traffic lights you will see a group of billboards on the grass verge marking the turn into Church End. Drive up the lane 300 yards and turn left just past the last cottage to park on the large standing area by the church. No facilities!
