Take A14 from Cambridge towards Huntingdon. Just after the turning for St Ives (B1096) take turning left from A14 to Hemingford Abbotts (the turning is immediately after a garage which I notice has now closed). Follow road into Hemmingford Abbotts as far as T junction, turn right – the Axe and Compass pub is on the left. I have managed to get us parking at Village Hall, on the right of the Axe and Compass. Please park at far end – a small parking fee of £1 per car would be appreciated.
