The walk will start from the Coton Nature Reserve, Martin Car Park (no charge), which is about 1 mile south of the village off to the left of Grantchester Road. Postcode is CB23 7PZ,  map reference TL 414 577.

The walk is about 11 to12 miles, about 5/6 miles into Cambridge and onto Grantchester via the backs and Newnham, to the Green Man for lunch (tel:844699, 59 High St, sample menu at www.thegreenmangrantchester.co.uk , sandwiches OK in garden) then about 5/6 miles exploring a bit of the Nature Reserve as we wish. The Reserve is run by Cambridge Past, Present and Future – the Club is now a member of CPPF, and you can find out more about the reserve at www.cambridgeppf.org where there is a map of the reserve.
