The walk starts at Balsham church. From Cambridge go either via Fulbourn and then to Balsham or to Linton on A1307 and then north on B1052 to Balsham and turn right into  the High Street to the village. Where the High Street bends right go left (by a shelter on a green) with  signs to the Church and recreation Ground. Go right into Church Lane (CB23 7DS) then left into a car park at the end of the road in front of the church.

The walk is 11 miles; approx. 7 miles via West Wratting and West Wickham to Horseheath for lunch and 4 miles back to Balsham.

Lunch will be at the Old Red Lion at Horseheath (Tel 01223 892909) www.theoldredlion.co.uk Choice of basic or more sophisticated dishes, own food in garden.
