Take A1301 from Cambridge to Stumps Cross.  Take B1383 to Audley End Station (passing Audley End House on the left, keep going, the station is signposted off to the right.  Once on road towards the station (B1039) the station is off to the left at the mini roundabout.  Park in station car park (free on Sundays).

Lunch is in Widdington, either in Priors Wood or on village green followed by drinks at the Fleur de Lys.

The afternoon takes us via Newport and Wendons Ambo and back to the station.
