Wednesday A Offord D’Arcy -Ouse Valley – Pathfinder – Fig of 8

The walk starts at The Horseshoe Inn: 90 High St, Offord D’Arcy, PE19 5RH and follows the Ouse Valley Way through the Paxton Pits Bird Reserve. The morning walk is south along the Ouse and returns via Diddington to the Horseshoe Inn for lunch. The restaurant will be open for us at 9.30am to order meals (sandwiches, soup and light meals) before the walk. The afternoon walk will climb the hill towards Graveley following the Pathfinder Long Distance Walk for a short distance before returning to Offord D’Arcy. Distance is 7.5 miles am / 4.5 miles pm. The Ouse Valley Way is liable to flooding and may be wet and slippery.
Ample Parking is available at the Horseshoe Inn, situated on the B1043 between Great Paxton and Godmanchester.
