Walk starts from the Marston Vale Forest Centre, Marston Moretaine, MK43 0PR.  Signposted from the A421, café and toilets at the start open from 0900. £3 for all-day car parking.

Morning 8.1 miles with some healthy climbs.  The Cross Keys in Cranfield will offer a simple walkers’ menu for our lunch.  Afternoon 4.2 miles of gentle downhill back to the Forest Centre.

Warning: on our last recce the nettles were abundant in places.
