The walk starts from the East Town Park car park (free), Coupals Road, Haverhill, CB9 7UR (TL686447).

Take A1307 from Cambridge to Haverhill.  Take Haverhill bypass (A1017).  Turn left at the 5th roundabout on the Haverhill bypass (1st roundabout has a metal sculpture) onto the B1057 to Haverhill.  At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit straight on still on B1057.  At T junction with A143 turn right onto Sturmer Road and go under bridge.  Take 2nd turning on left at mini roundabout into Chalkstone Way and at mini roundabout turn right into Coupals Road.  After 50yds turn right (brown sign on left) into East Town Park car park.  There are toilets to the left of the entrance.

The walk is 7.5 miles am and 5.5 miles pm.
