Wednesday A Coton Reserve

September 9, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Start of walk: Coton Reserve car park, Grantchester Road CB23 7PZ

Parking: Coton Reserve car park

Size of group: the maximum allowed is 30

Mileage: 12

Lunch: packed lunch plus all other refreshments for the day

Leader’s name and mobile number:  Anne D’s number is 07732169045

General walk info: From Coton reserve we explore the paths around Barton and Lark Rise before returning to Coton reserve and walking around Coton village and the reserve. The lunch spot is close to the carpark so it might be possible for someone to leave after about 8 miles if they wish, but the walk is not a figure of 8.

Please note these additional requirements:

In line with the requirements for group walks of more than 6 people, as approved by the Ramblers (the national body for walking), everyone coming on the walk must provide the leader with their contact details.

Please text or phone the leader if you plan to come. Please remember to give your name as part of your text!  Your details will be held for 21 days for Covid-19 ‘test and trace’ purposes, then deleted. The maximum number of people allowed on any walk is 30.

No one should come on the walk if they feel even slightly ill. Please make sure that you bring with you a face covering, hand sanitiser and any walking poles you need; no equipment or refreshments can be shared beyond households. In line with government guidelines members are asked to observe ‘social distancing’ on the walk.

More details relating to taking part in and leading Club walks in a ‘Covid-19’ environment are posted on the CRC website, under ‘Members’. Please have another look at these before you come on the walk.
