The walk is a figure of eight starting at The Prince of Wales pub, Brickend, Broxted.CM6 2BJ (TL573259). It will be about 8 miles in the morning and 4.5 in the afternoon and visits Little and Great Easton and Tilty. The car park will be open from 9.30 a.m.

To reach the pub take M11 to junction 8 then take first turning (A120) towards Stansted airport terminal. Leave the A120 at Thremhall Avenue (marked Terminal), cross first roundabout then take 4th exit at next roundabout and immediately turn left (marked Takeley).  At next roundabout take left hand turn (marked Molehill Green and Broxted). In about a mile turn right (marked Thaxted, Broxted). The pub is a mile down this road.

ALTERNATIVELY

Take B184 to Thaxted via Saffron Walden. Near end of Thaxted take B1051(on right) to Broxted. When reach village continue on through it to come to pub at Brickend.
