Drive out of Cambridge through Fulbourn and continue to Balsham.  Park near the Balsham Stores and Post Office and The Old Butcher’s Shop Cafe (both at postcode CB21 4DJ) in the small car park or on the road.  The walk is 4.75 miles along good grassy paths and field edges, with some wooded areas.  There is about half-a-mile along Fleam Dyke, where it is recommended to use walking poles because the track is tricky in places and could be slippery if there is heavy rain during the week.  Towards the end of the walk, we cross two fields, on hard compacted paths.  If any queries, please phone Meg on 01223 570551.
