The walk distance is 5.5 miles.  It is through pretty villages and the Abbots Ripton Estate. The paths are mostly good and there are no stiles; some sections involve walking along quiet roads. Directions:  Take the A14 towards Huntingdon­ at junction 23 use the left lane to take the A14/A141 roundabout. At the roundabout take the 3^rd exit onto the A141 to March.  At the next roundabout take the 2^nd exit A141 to March; stay on the A141 crossing all roundabouts. Look for a roundabout with an Audi Garage; after this the next roundabout is signed Abbots Ripton. Take the 1^st exit to Abbots Ripton.  Continue to Abbots Ripton. Just as you pass the Abbots Ripton sign at the entry to the village take the B1090 on the immediate right. Follow the B1090 and turn right at the sign for the village hall. Turn left into Green Farm and park outside the NFU Mutual office PE28 2PF. Note my satnav took a different route through Abbots Ripton.

The A14 has not listed any closures for the 21^st October. If there is an unplanned closure from Cambridge take the A428 to Caxton and the A1198 to Godmanchester, joining the A14 at junction 24. Allow another 10 minutes for this option.
