Please park carefully, opposite the Axe and Compass pub (CB11 4EX), not blocking entrances and bridges over the stream.  The journey from Cambridge takes almost 45 minutes.  Please arrive at 10am so we can start around 10.15am. 

The walk is through gently undulating, beautiful countryside, with good paths. There are green lanes and open paths alongside fields, and some lovely vistas.  Starting from the idyllic village of Arkesden, we will walk to Wicken Bonhunt.  Walking back to Arkesden, there are two short stretches of road walking.
