WATERBEACH TO MILTON COUNTRY PARK
Waterbeach street parking, Greenside, Waterbeach, CB25 9HP
From Cambridge take the A10 north past Milton and take the first turning to Waterbeach, Car Dyke Road, on the right. Follow this road, which becomes Cambridge Road and then Chapel Street, until you reach the village green on your left. Park around the green at Waterbeach. Explorer 226 TL495 653.
The walk goes along by the river and across fields to Horningsea then on to Milton Country Park for lunch. Packed lunches can be eaten outside the cafe as long as you buy a drink. The afternoon walk goes through the Park and then along by the river back to Waterbeach.
Distance: 6 miles in the morning, 3.75 miles in the afternoon.
