Take the A14 travelling north from Cambridge. At the Cambridge services turn off and follow the signs to Swavesey. Continue right through the village until you reach the White Horse pub on the right hand side. Just before the pub turn right into Market Street where there is plenty of parking.

It is possible to travel to Swavesey by the guided bus (which we shall do on the day). It leaves Drummer Street at 09.20 and arrives at Swavesey at 09.48. We shall be getting on the bus at Oakington. It is then a seven minute walk to the start of the ramble.

The walk is a fig. of eight – 6 miles in the morning 5 miles in the afternoon. We will eat our own sandwiches on the green area near to the car park and those who wish may go to the pub for a drink.
