Sunday B Walk from St Ives Park and Ride Car Park

St Ives P&R to Fen Drayton Lakes & Holywell 21 August 2022 leaving 10.00.

The Walk starts from the Guided Bus Park and Ride car park in Meadow Lane, St Ives, PE27 4LG. Parking is now free of charge. The guided bus also stops here.
At junction 24b (Swavesey/St Ives exit) of the A14 west from Cambridge, exit onto old A14 following signs for St Ives and take A1096 to St lves. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and stay on A1096, keeping straight on at traffic lights for guided bus crossing. At next roundabout take 3rd exit into Meadow Lane. The Park and Ride car park is off Meadow Lane on the right.
The morning walk goes through the Fen Drayton lakes nature reserve and along by the river Gt. Ouse into St Ives where we will have a stop for lunch. There are seats by the river for eating packed lunches and several pubs and cafes to buy drinks if you wish (6.5 miles).
The afternoon walk goes towards Holywell and back along the other side of the river finishing at the St. Ives P & R car park. (4 miles).
