Directions to Riverside Walk Car Park

Take A10 south from Cambridge. After Foxton level crossing look for right turn to Shepreth (do not turn right intoBarrington). Drive through Shepreth and before you get toBarrington look for sign ‘Riverside Walk’. Turn left into car park.

Shepreth, Whaddon, Orwell (lunch stop at the Chequers) andBarrington. 6.5 miles morning, 5 afternoon.

The pub is happy to serve us soup or baguettes if we order at start of walk.  Soup & baguette is £3.50 or filled baguettes are £3.25-£4.25.  The pub is also happy for us to eat our own sandwiches on the tables in front of the pub provided we buy a drink.  There is a teashop in Shepreth if we are back in time.
