Linton Health Centre Car Park, Coles Lane, Linton, CB21 4JS.

Take the A 1307 from Cambridge to Linton.  Turn left into the High Street just after the pedestrian crossing lights.  Go over the river and up the hill past the paper shop.  Turn left into Coles Lane.  The health centre car park is the first turn on the right.  Meet there for a ten o’clock departure.

The walk follows a section of the Roman Road westward, then crosses to the Fleam Dyke, the Anglo-Saxon defensive ditch going eastwards to Balsham.  Note: we will be lunching in a small wood west of Balsham; we will call in at the pub in Balsham in the early afternoon and complete our circle back to Linton.
