This 16 mile walk will be led by Jill and srarts at 8.45 from Harvey Road. The parking for the start of the walk is in Alconbury Weston on the road immediately west of the pub, The White Hart, at GR 178769, post code PE28 4JA.
The directions for getting there are to take the A14 past the turn off to the Midlands M6 , i.e. continue as if going to join the A1 north. But before getting to the A1, take the left turn signed to Alconbury. The shortest route is to go under the A1 and through Alconbury village and over the little humped back bridge, through to a cross road. Here turn right for just under a mile, into Alconbury Weston. The White Hart pub  is on the right and the road for parking opposite. Although a bit of a distance, the A14/A1 roads should be fast early Sunday morning, so if going straight to the start, please be there by 9.20.

THERE MAY NOT BE A PUB AT LUNCHTIME SO PLEASE BRING A PACKED LUNCH AND PLENTY OF FLUIDS, but the tea shop may be open.

The walk includes a visit to Little Gidding and its church, which features in TSEliot’s Four Quartets. There is usually a tea shop open at the Little Gidding Community Centre.
