Take the A1307 from Cambridge to Linton. Turn left into the High Street just after the pedestrian crossing lights. Go over the river and up the hill past the paper shop. Turn left into Coles Lane. The Health Centre car park is the first turn on the right. Meet there for a ten o’clock departure.

Starting in Linton, at the Health Centre car park, the route strikes south to Hadstock where we stop and inspect the Saxon church and the grave of Michael Ayrton, renowned sculptor and maze-maker. On then over the hills to Great Chesterford and refreshment at the Plough [CB10 1BL]. The return journey takes in Catley Park.
