This is a 14.5 mile walk, lead by Paul, with an 8.45am car share from Harvey Rd. The start of the walk and parking are at the car park by Forest Lodge, West Stow Heath. (GridRef.TL815714).The nearest post code is IP28 6EY. The access road to the car park is a Forestry Commission road and a bit rough (potholes) in places, so take care when driving along it. As you approach the village of West Stow from the west along the Icklingham Road, the access road is on the left just after the 30mph speed limit signs.

If going straight to the start, please be there by 9.30.

The morning walk will include parts of the River Lark and the Icknield Way with lunch at Tuddenham. The afternoon walk will return via Cavenham Heath and the King’s Forest
